The Marriage Course

We were very excited to offer the ALPHA Marriage course in

February 2022. We hope to offer it again sometime in the near future.

 

This is what the course looks like:

•The class meets at CTR for 7 consecutive nights. Childcare will not be provided.

•The class will begin with a brief wine & cheese fellowship. The video will begin shortly after that.

•The environment is designed to be like a date night, so couples will sit in pairs, somewhat distanced from one another, around the room, for privacy of conversation.

•Couples are invited to continue their date after the class by going out to dinner, coffee, dessert, etc., either as a couple or with other couples.

The Marriage Course

Christ the Redeemer will be hosting Alpha's Marriage course on Thursday evenings beginning on Jan 13th @6:30pm.


Whether married for six months or 40 years, whether in a good place or struggling, the course helps couples navigate the modern challenges of marriage. The course is based on the Alpha series in which each session consists of a video with discussion time afterwards.

There will be a sign-up sheet at church on Sundays. All married couples are welcome to attend. For questions, please contact our leaders Libby Manning and Skylar O’Neal or contact our church.

What will The Marriage Course look like?

It looks like a date night in which couples (whether married for 6 months or 40 years) get to spend quality time together!

When we walk into our doors at 6:30pm, there will be light refreshments that will consist of charcuterie boards with wine or another beverage. Then we will gather as couples in the Nave to watch and discuss The Marriage course videos. The course is similar to the Alpha series in which each session consists of a video with discussion time.  The difference is that we sit as couples and each couple’s conversations are completely private.
