Young Adult ministry

GET INVOLVED IN A LIFE GROUP!

Our Life Groups typically consist of about 10-15 people, and are a great way to meet new people, make lasting friendships, grow in a relationship with God, and make a difference in the life of someone else. Life Groups offer our best environment of ministry care, support, and connection.

Training Suggestions

How's the distancing going?  I've been praying that we, and our loved ones, are healthy and safe -- and can use this opportunity to grow spiritually, and grow in witnessing.  Here's a couple suggestions:

1.  Now is a good time to develop or continue a daily habit of prayer, Bible reading, and the art of self-reflection.

2.  Now is a good time to research podcasts, youtube videos, and other online resources to help increase our knowledge and practice of the Faith.  Fr. Mike Schmitz and Word on Fire are among my favorite podcasts and youtube teachings.

3.  Now is a good time to check in on friends and people you haven't talked with in a while.  It may be someone is overwhelmed with stress, anxiety, or fear.  Speak peace, life, and faith to them.

May this be a great time we can truly show ourselves to be salt and light!

Fr. Mark, Director of College and YOung Adult Ministries

After our youth graduate from high school and head off to college, it is important that they feel connected to their church home and for those who attend college in Fort Worth find a church home where their faith can be strengthened. Fr. Mark sends out a weekly devotional email “The Vine”. A big event he coordinates every year is the College Retreat in early January that is open to all college students, not just from CTR.

For the young adults, we have a simple process of discipleship – IN, UP, OUT.

Ministry among young adults includes happy hours and fellowship events, men and women bible or book studies, and supper groups and small groups.

This is a place where young adults can come together, grow in their faith, and serve in various ministry opportunities.
