Michael is from the Bay
Area in California, and he comes from a family of 4 raised by his mother who instilled
in his brothers and him a strong sense of devotion to God from a young age.
Although he attended church from a very young age, it wasn’t until he was in high
school that he made the decision to follow Jesus. He
attended the Community College of San Mateo, earning a certificate in
Administration of Justice, and at Grand Canyon University, earning a Bachelor's
of Arts in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Studies.
He now lives in Arlington. Favorite things to do - spending time with
family & friends, playing sports, watching movies, listening to/playing music...
Michael Cobillas serves as our Director of College and Young
Adult Ministries, particularly serving Texas Christian University as the
Canterbury Chaplain and other college campuses in the Fort Worth area. If you
have a student who is or will be attending TCU and/or a young adult living in
the Southwest Fort Worth area, please contact Fr. Chris Culpepper so he can get you
connected to Michael.
We have partnered our college ministry with Christian Coalition Outreach (CCO). For more information on this organization, check out their web site here.
