Stewardship campaign for our 2026 budget

Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also....
Giving of the treasure that God has given you is not only one way to say “thank you” to him for his provision, but it is also a means for helping the Church spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The month of October is traditionally the time we begin our Stewardship Campaign, which sets our budget for 2026. We will tell our story - remembering our past; celebrating our present and looking to our future. 

We will have our pledge cards available for you to pledge. 

However, during the month of October, we ask everyone to prayerfully consider their pledge.

The pledge cards will be collected on

All Saints' Day on Sunday, November 2nd during our worship service @10:30am.

Our Youth Garage Sale with Lemonade Stand was a tremendous success !

Our youth raised almost $1400! 

That's a lot of treasures sold.

It wasn’t a complete sell out, so our communities benefited from our left-over items through such organizations as Half Price Books, Goodwill and Manna Storehouse.

Thank you to our youth and all those who donated items and volunteered their time for helping us get closer to building a city on a hill.

Ladies' Spring bible study

"Angels" by Melissa Spoelstra

Wednesday Women's Daytime Spring Bible Study: 

Meets at Laura O'Brien’s home on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to noon. They will begin on Wednesday February 18th, and will finish this 8-week study on Wednesday April 8th. All ladies are welcome to enjoy fellowship with each other while growing in our  faith! 

This spring, our group will be studying  Angels, by Melissa Spoelstra. In this 8-session Bible study, join Melissa Spoelstra as she traverses the terrain of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels—who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Angels is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth. Workbooks for the study can be purchased on the Lifeway website, or from Amazon.

Our annual Ladies’ Summer Bible study

with potluck dinner begins on

Wednesday, June 4th until July 2nd @6 pm!

We will begin at 6:00 p.m. with our video study and then follow it with a potluck supper and discussion. It is truly potluck. If you don’t have time to make or pick up something, come anyway! There is always plenty to share. The most important thing is to come as you are and spend time with us in study and fellowship.


This year’s study: “Forgiving What You Can't Forget”

“Why should I have to be the one who forgives when I'm the one who has already suffered the most? We know God commands us to forgive. But how, when the hurt plays over and over in our mind? And why, when we have already suffered so much? And, are there exceptions, such as when the other person keeps inflicting pain?”

Local needs

Snacks for Rivertree:

We will are collecting individually packaged snacks for Rivertree students each week. Snacks should be individually packaged and non-perishable (e.g.: Goldfish, pretzels, crackers, granola bars, fruit rollups, etc.) The school requests that we do NOT send things such as fruit cups that require spoons and/or pose a spill risk. You can drop them off on Sunday at the church.

Festival of Saints

A festival for the whole family to enjoy!

Meet the saints through the ages and enjoy fun activities together. We will conclude with a kid friendly meal. If you have any questions, please contact Melissa here.

Women's Bible Study

Tuesday Evenings :

September 10th - october 29th

Led by Jessica Tetirick and meeting at her home on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. This evening group will start a new 8 week study on September 10th through October 29th. Women are invited to come and explore The Practicing the Way course through reading, video, practice and discussion. We look forward to discovering how to apprentice after Jesus in community, studying the Word and spiritual practices together, and forming new friendships! Contact Jessica for more information HERE.

Family and Children's Ministry

Sunday School has begun!

  • Nursery

    We are delighted for your child to be in nursery care at Christ the Redeemer. Our nursery staff is eager to care for and play with your child. Your child will hear Bible stories and songs and enjoy free play. Demonstrating God's love, it is our desire to provide a safe, caring environment. Our childcare providers have completed background checks, MinistrySafe Abuse Prevention Training, First Aid/CPR/AED training and have experience in childcare. We take diligent precautions to maintain a clean and safe environment.

    Please complete the registration form to better allow us to know your child and how to best care for them.

  • Worship and Wonder

    Worship & Wonder is offered during the Sunday school offering for children ages 4 - 5th grade from 9:30 am-10:10am.

    The Worship & Wonder approach to entering into Scripture with children focuses on:

    the biblical narrative

    spiritual developmental needs of a child

    worship

    the rhythmic and cyclical, liturgical life

    How you can help your child in Worship & Wonder?

    Encourage your child to "get ready."

    Get the wiggles out, go to the bathroom, empty pockets of trinkets prior to arriving.

    Your child benefits from arriving on time and unhurried.

    Allow the greeter to help your child

    enter into the atrium.

    During daily life, ask your children wondering questions and discuss God's Big Story in the Bible.

    Observe in church together - notice the changes of color, special objects, actions and words.

    Children will only be dismissed from Worship & Wonder to parents or designated guardians. Please pick up your children promptly at 10:10am to allow everyone time to prepare for worship.

Caron coordinates our Life Groups and we offer a number specifically for women. All our Life Groups are open to all women, whether they are a member or not. Please contact the church if you have any questions, for some meet in homes as well as the church.
