t Classic Christianity for a Contemporary Culture

We greet you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and we welcome you to our web site, a portal into our church community. We hope you will find this site useful, not only in learning about our church community, but also as an on-going resource for calendar planning and other things. Of course, nothing replaces the real thing, so we hope you will come see for yourself!

“Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”

When Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, he said, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” So, this is our vision statement at CTR. First and foremost, it is God’s own vision. And, we at CTR only want what God has in mind for us.

The Great Command
Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first and Great Commandment, and the second is like it: you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Great Commission
Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the ends of the earth.”

For over 2,000 years now, the Church has had one, simple calling: to know Christ and to make him known. This, in sum, is the Great Command and the Great Commission.

Worship – Discipleship – Fellowship – Mission – Evangelism – Stewardship – Prayer

Taken from our vision and mission above, these core values drive every decision we make. They are our governing principles by which we discuss and discern the ministry God has given us to do at CTR.

Time – Talent – Treasure

God has given each of us gifts to use in the service of his kingdom. Part of our mission is to help you discover yours. Will you join us?
